Hell’s Kitchen residents who loathed SantaCon’s descent onto the neighborhood probably won’t be too keen on this event: Bud Light is parkingwill park the city’s biggest party boat—a 4,000-passenger-capacity Norwegian cruise ship—at Pier 88, filling it with bands, VIP guests and, assuredly, drunken revelers. (The get-down willIt’ll also spill over to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.) Over the course of four days, big-name acts like the Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons and Fall Out Boy will perform, and in a nod to the NYC’s superlative music scene, the Roots will lead a tribute to New York hip-hop with acts like Run-n D.M.C. and Busta Rhymes. AThough a few hundred fan tickets have been given away in promotions, but the rest of us will be watching the festivitiesparty from the shore in our pauper’s rags, Titanic-style.
