Bard College's Globalization and International Affairs program invites Joseph Melrose—the acting U.S. representative for management and reform at the U.N., and former U.S. ambassador to Sierra Leone—to speak about about diamonds mined in African conflict zones (and the 2006 Leonardo DiCaprio vehicle that addresses the issue), as part of the school's James Clarke Chace Speaker series.
