Once a dance-music hub, this kitschy dive now welcomes buzzworthy bands and their enthusiastic followers. You can roll in early—the lineups tend to kick off around 8pm—but the party really shifts into high gear during the later sets, which finish at 1am. There's a different party every night at this unassuming haunt, and the energy is consistently high. DJs spin global tunes—from cumbia and Afro-Latin bass to bhangra and boogaloo—attracting a diverse crowd to the dance floor, which swells as the night progresses. Secreted away in the back of The Lovin' Cup Cafe, this small, industrial performance space hosts a slew of rising Kings County rockers. Though it's most common for shows to start around 8pm, several excellent parties kick off around midnight.
