Atlantic Avenue Extravaganza

Atlantic Ave between Columbia St and Fourth Ave, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn (atlanticavebid.org). Subway: D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, 5 to Atlantic Ave–Pacific St. 1–5pm; free. The Atlantic Avenue Business Improvement District celebrates the variety of offerings along its namesake thoroughfare with performances, tastings and shopping deals. The Brooklyn Steppers Marching Band will christen AABID’s new headquarters (340 Atlantic Ave between Hoyt and Smith Sts, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn) at a ribbon-cutting ceremony, where you can pick up a handout listing all the special events and participating merchants.
