Bar Goyana is hosting its third annual Festa Junina “Arraiá at 100th Street" with Lex & 3rd Block Association, Uptown Grand Central and the 23rd NYCP District on Saturday, June 22. Rivaling the famous Carnival festival, Festa Junina is a popular festival in Brazil that celebrates the harvest, good music, food and community. For a third year, Bar Goyana will commemorate the day with live music, including “Forró”—a popular Brazilian music genre—dance classes, food and activities for all ages.
The event will take place on 100th Street between Lexington and Third Avenue from noon to 6pm.
