53rd New York Film Festival

The mammoth cinema event returns to Lincoln Center to showcase some of the best new films, shorts and documentaries from around the planet, along with well-curated talks, retrospectives and revivals. Look out for major openings for buzzy fall films including Carol, Brooklyn and The Walk. The festival runs at multiple locations, but most screenings are held at one of Lincoln Center's venues. Tickets are available for purchase at the Alice Tully Hall box office from 10am–6pm daily. Various prices.
