Artists are calling on superhuman powers to stay up and work for a full 24 hours on 24-page comic books during a marathon event at Brooklyn's Anyone Comics.
Between noon on Saturday to noon on Sunday, energy-drink-fueled artists will fully ink, letter and scan their respective books, which will be printed in an anthology that will be sold at the store.
Fans are invited to swing by at any time, yes, even at 2am, during the marathon to watch and encourage the artists, who almost definitely will need some support.
The comic book store will premiere the 24 Hour Comic flip book from last year's marathon, which features works by winners Ben Granoff and Dan Stebbins (who will sign the books), and participants Brent Weischel and Noy Har-Shemesh, who wrote the forward and drew the cover, respectively. It'll be on sale for $7.99.
We're not sure what Stan Lee would think, but the marathon seems like a fun event to pop into for comic book fans.
