Anita Gonzales and Dan Furman's original musical looks at joint efforts by Afro-Cuban, Spanish and Italian workers to unionize a cigar factory in Tampa, Florida in 1918. Directed by Vernice Miller, the show is being mounted as an immersive work-in-progress at Brooklyn's Rustik Tavern and Gramercy Park's historical Players club.
