Women in Theatre Festival 2019

Project Y Theatre mounts the fourth edition of a festival that focuses on women's work. Among the offerings are two world premieres commissioned for the occasion: Megan Monaghan Rivas's Three Musketeers: 1941, inspired by Alexandre Dumas's swashbuckling novel and set in Nazi-occupied Paris; and Amina Henry's Sleeping Beauty, a child-friendly feminist reimagining of a fairy tale that usually has a very passive heroine.
