We Will Rock You

Ben Elton's musical bends songs by Queen to the service of a plot set in a dystopian future in which rock & roll is outlawed and a group of bohemian rebels (including characters named Galileo and Scaramouche) fights the evil Killer Queen. Despite harsh reviews, the original West End production ran for a dozen years, and the show has since toured pretty much everywhere in the world—except, until now, New York City.
