American Idol heartthrob Ace Young has gone on to a successful career in theater, including stints on Broadway in Grease and Hair. Now he headlines Frank J. Avella's drama about the culture of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church—which is finally hitting the stage at the Tank after seven abortive world premieres in the past 15 years, including one involving death threats in Rome. Described as a "fast-paced, nonlinear suspense thriller" and inspired by true stories, the play follows the journey of a radicalized survivor bent on revenge. Avella and Carlotta Brentan co-direct a cast of ten.
