Vanities–The Musical

Three small-town cheerleaders mirror their changing times in a musical that tracks them through 25 years of pompoms and circumstance. Adapted by Jack Heifner from his own 1976 Off Broadway hit, and outfitted with an original score by David Kirshenbaum, the show made its New York debut at Second Stage in 2009; Will Pomerantz directs the first local revival for the York Theatre Company, with Amy Keum, Jade Jones and Haley Podschun as the girls.
