The Public presents edgy new works from all over the globe in a festival co-curated this year by Mark Russell and Meiyin Wang. Its spectacular international offerings include the deft auteur Guillermo Calderón’s Escuela, Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq's Nanook of the North, buzzy French-Belgian devised piece Germinal and Japanese normcore genius Toshiki Okada’s God Bless Baseball.
