Triptych (Eyes of One on Another)

The provocative photography of Robert Mapplethorpe is the subject of this theatrical oratorio by composer Bryce Dessner and librettist Korde Arrington Tuttle, which incorporates text by Patti Smith and Essex Hemphill. Keneza Schaal directts the piece, which features the vocal ensemble Roomful of Teeth as well as soprano Alicia Hall Moran and tenor Isaiah Robinson.
