Robin Hirsch, the erstwhile longtime owner of the West Village food-and-culture institution Cornelia Street Café, presents a live reading of his play about a Holocaust survivor who runs a deli and the immigrant workers in his employ, which Hirsch wrote in the 1980s as a tribute to the dishwashers he knew and loved. Georgina Corbo, who directed a virtual performance of the piece earlier this year, returns to helm the live event, in which the playwright also co-stars.
