The Drilling Company's Shakespeare in the Parking Lot returns for its 26th season of classical theater on the Lower East Side, taking a leap uptown to Bryant Park for three performances in the middle of the run. The play this time is a rarity: The Two Noble Kinsmen, a tragicomic adaptation of Chaucer’s “The Knight’s Tale” that concerns two Theban cousins in love with the same Amazon princess. Written in collaboration with John Fletcher, it is believed to be Shakespeare's final work. Director Hamilton Clancy sets the action in a world of modern international espionage.
