The Taming of the Shrew

Shakespeare in the Park will mount an all-female version of Shrew this summer, but the Queen's Company is getting there first. Rebecca Patterson directs the Bard’s battle-of-the-sexes comedy, in which a swaggering gold digger breaks the spirit of his headstrong bride via starvation, brainwashing and sleep deprivation.
