Annie Dorsen has consistently pushed boundaries when it comes to the use of technology in theatrical environments—as in 2011's Hello Hi There, which consisted mainly of live conversations between two chatbots. In her latest piece, the opening production of Performance Space New York's Posthuman Series, 30 actors perform text drawn from transcripts of interactions in the lobbies of virtual-sex chat rooms.
