Alice Scovell imagines a sequel to The Importance of Being Ernest, set seven years after Oscar Wilde's classic epigrammatic farce, that introduces the two main couples to a disruptive new figure named Frank. New York Classical Theatre's Stephen Burdman directed the Cincinnati premiere in January, now brings that production to New York with the same cast of six to New York, including Forbidden Broadway icon Christine Pedi as the forbidding Lady Bracknell.
