The Pillowman

In case you didn't have nightmares enough, Headwall Theatre Company mounts a late-night revival of Martin McDonagh's brilliant 2003 drama about the power and danger of stories in a police state. Brian Patterson and Chris Robertson play brothers suspected of involvement in a series of child murders, and Jonathan Dauermann and Nicholas James Reilly play their interrogators. Director Josh Lombard employs techniques of children's theater (such as shadow puppetry and masks) to heighten the sense of gallows whimsy.
