August Strindberg Rep presents a double bill of brief 1907 works by the misanthropic Swedish pot-stirrer: The Pelican, the tale of a wicked widow whose veil of self-sacrifice is finally torn off, and its supernatural prologue, Isle of the Dead. Both plays are newly translated by director Robert Greer.
