The New York International Fringe Festival 2015

The 19th edition of this sprawling annual downtown festival includes work by nearly 200 frantically rotating companies in 18 different venues. The wild variety of shows includes musicals, dance pieces, classical revivals and ramshackle new works on subjects that include Shakespeare, Lena Dunham and pretty much everything in between.
