Time Out says

The newest immersive theatrical experience at The McKittrick Hotel aims to transport participants not to a specific time and place as much as to a dark corner of their own subconscious.

The general framework of the evening involves guests being led by an enigmatic hostess to a dinner party in “The Attic,” a newly discovered space within the McKittrick Hotel. A brief introduction informs that evening’s guests the the night will soon have them questioning their own reality and it doesn’t take long for things to start getting out of hand. For instance, the bar that serves as a gathering point before the main dining room opens is literally lined with multiple rows of creepy, lifelike hands.

Once you’ve settled in to your assigned seat for the evening, you can look forward to meeting some kooky party hosts and being entertained by their progressively more bizarre performances. As you interact with the other eccentric guests in vaguely ‘60s-attire, you’ll be served a three-course dinner from Executive Chef Pascal Le Seac’h that mirrors the weird vibe of the evening with dishes like meat served in a Jello mold. If you’re looking for a date idea that will give you plenty to talk about after, this is a great bet.

“The Lost Supper—A Hypnotic Dinner Party” currently offers performances from Tuesdays through Fridays at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 6:30pm and 9pm. Tickets range from $175–$195 per person and $275–$295 for a Cloud Nine Champagne upgrade.
