In 1907, master Irish dramatist J.M. Synge (The Playboy of the Western World) published a quartet of essays about life on the harsh, rocky Galway Bay islands of Inishmore, Inisheer and Inishmaan (which later inspired fellow playwright Martin McDonagh). Irish actor Brendan Conroy brings some of Synge's writing to life in a solo storytelling show adapted and directed by Joe O'Byrne.
