Harrison David Rivers's new play, set in small-town Kansas in the late 1960s, depicts the emotional turmoil of two sisters and a handsome neighbor who comes between them. Raelle Myrick-Hodges directs for National Black Theatre, whose new season's theme is "In Pursuit of Black Joy."
