Mabou Mines presents work by four artists in the sophomore year of its Suite/Space initiative: Cinthia Chen's Hollywood fantasia Anna May Wong, the Actress Who Died a Thousand Deaths; Marcelle Davies-Lashley's Liberian Girl in Brooklyn, a family history that incorporates song and dance; Cristina Pitter's Decolonizing My Vagina, a performance piece from the perspective of a queer fat woman of color; and Edisa Weeks's Three Rites: Liberty, which uses whiteface and blackface to investigate American liberty in story and dance.
