Semblance

New York Theatre Workshop presents a limited run of a work that falls between live and virtual theater: a "theatrical installation" by Whitney White that inspects and challenges culutral perceptions of Black women. Audience members attend the event in person; Nikiya Mathis, in a recorded performance, plays the women.
