Director James Rutherford squeezes the ripe fruit of Oscar Wilde's 1891 biblical tragedy about the violent mayhem that can grow from heterosexual lust. M-34's production uses Rutherford's own new translation of Wilde's original French text, and features choreography by Jess Goldschmidt. (Note: Originally scheduled to run from late August into September, the production has moved to October.)
