Rules and Roles of Comedy

We Three Productions mounts a collection of six deadpan dark comedies by writer-director Harold Dean James—the first comedic venture by a writer who is more commonly drawn to dramas with supernatural overtones. The cast includes Paul Albe, FitzyFitz, Sharon Fogarty, Ray Grist, Jesse N. Holmes, Donna Kennedy and Claudia Menza. Performances are at the Players, a private club historically associated with thespians, and which has a business-casual dress code. (The performance on September 3 includes the option of a $70 opening-night gala with drinks and appatizers.)
