Rising Sun Performance Company: Proud + Untitled Calamity Jane Play

Akia Squitieri's Rising Sun Performance Company casts its rays live for the first time since the pandemic shutdown with a pair of plays presented in rep: Judd Lear Silverman's Proud, in which four peacocks go on the run from the Philadelphia Zoo, directed by Eric Parness; and Kati Frazier's Untitled Calamity Jane Play, a new look at the Wild West's most famous bad girl, directed by Squitieri and performed by an international cast.
