Brittany K. Allen's 2019 drama, about an interracial relationship that gets thrown into new relief by a genealogical discovery, was scheduled to make its New York premiere at Ensemble Studio Theatre in 2020, before the pandemic forced a delay. Happily, the entire original cast of that production—led by Tyrone Mitchell Henderson, Drew Lewis, Portia and Allen herself—has returned for second try, directed by EST's Mikhaela Mahony.
