Prelude 2016

This totally free, utterly unmissable festival at the CUNY Graduate Center showcases snippets from upcoming avant-garde work, offering the theatrical and dance equivalent of a "coming attractions" series. The theme for 2016 is “failure,” explored in a full-length piece by Matthew Goulish. Curators Tom Sellar and Antje Oegel have assembled a typically diverse bunch of art makers for shorter selections, including Ikechukwu Ufomadu, Katy Pyle, Sibyl Kempson, David Levine, Big Dance Theater, Kate Benson, I Am a Boys Choir, the Living Theater, the Builders Association and Built for Collapse.
