The York's Musicals in Mufti series, which offers stripped-down concert stagings of rarely staged works of musical theater, returns with a new slate of curiosities. The jewel in the crown, for camp connoisseurs, is Golden Rainbow (Sept 23–Oct 1), a glitzy 1968 Las Vegas story that that originially served as a vehicle for married songbirds Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé; Max Von Essen and Mara Davi play their roles in this revised version. The season concludes with When We Get There (Oct 2–15), a new musical about a carful of New Jerseyans en route to MLK Jr.'s 1965 protest march from Selma to Montgomery.
