Medea: Re-Versed

Red Bull Theater, the city's gutsiest classical-theater company, presents a new vision of the ancient Greek myth of Medea, the mother of all infanticides. Sarin Monae West play the title role in a modernized, battle-rap adaptation by Luis Quintero, who also serves as the production's Emcee; Jacob Ming-Trent, Stephen Michael Spencer, Mark Martin, Siena D'Addario and Melissa Mahoney fill out the cast. Nathan Winkelstein, who co-conceived the project, directs the Off Broadway premiere.
