Measure for Measure

In this Next Wave Festival offering, the U.K.'s Cheek by Jowl and Russia's Pushkin Theatre team up to offer a new take on Shakespeare's rather creepy dark romance about a sexually repressive regent, a voyeuristic duke and a prim nun-to-be. Declan Donnellan directs a modern-dress production designed by Nick Ormerod; performances are in Russian with English supertitles.
