Andrea Frierson, whose Broadway résumé goes back to 1971's The Me Nobody Knows, celebrates the centennial of scat queen Ella Fitzgerald in a solo musical that explores the life and legacy of the First Lady of Song. Murphy Cross and Paul Kreppel direct; Ron Abel serves as musical director and arranger.
