Masquerade

Moscow's Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre of Russia returns to NYC for four performances of a tragic farce based on Mikhail Lermontov's 1835 play, set amid the gossip and treachery of aristocratic St. Petersburg in the 1830s. Directed by Rimas Tuminas, the production is presented under the welcoming branches of the Cherry Orchard Festival.
