Trazana Beverley, who won a Tony Award for 1976's For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide (When the Rainbow Is Enuf), stars in her solo show about iconic New York cabaret singer Mabel Mercer. Frances Hill and Peter Napolitano codirect; the score includes new songs by Napolitano and Barry Leveitt, as well as standards from Mercer's repertoire.
