It's a big month for old Benjamin Franklin: the writer, scientist, Founding Father and tonsorial icon is not only featured in Broadway's 1776 but also in G.W. Reed's modest two-person romantic comedy about his flirty relationship with French aristocrat Anne Louise Brillon de Jouy in the years that followed the American Revolution. Reed also stars opposite Musa Gurnis in this production, directed by Manfred Bormann.
