Director Lissa Moira revisits Mira J. Spektor's 1982 chamber opera, based on a 1955 post-Holocaust play by Israel's Lea Goldberg. The piece, which concerns the possibility of a Jewish girl still in hiding after World War II, is paired with a rowdy vaudevillian curtain raiser, From Oy to Vey, based on works by composer Seymour Barab (Little Red Riding Hood).
