Time Out says

Innovation goes hand in glove with theater at this biannual festival of new puppetry for grown-ups. This year's collection includes Alice Therese Gottschalk, Raphael Mürle and Frank Soehnle's marionette work Wunderkammer: Cabinet of Curiosities (Nov 1–3); Visual Expressions/Hua Hua Zhang's Tian Wen: Heavenly Questions for Modern Times (Nov 3–5), which draws on Taoist philosophy; Duda Paiva and Nancy Black's Blind (Nov 8–11), inspired by Paiva's childhood illness; Nekaa Lab/Sachiyo Takahashi's abstract Everything Starts from a Dot (Nov 8–10); Patrick Masset/Théâtre d’un Jour's migration allegory Exodus (Nov 15–18); and Nehprii Amenii's Food for the Gods (Nov 15–18), which examines violence against black men. Also on the lineup are a Puppet Slam (Nov 5), two noontime shows aimed at children—Don Quixote Takes New York (Nov 10, 11) and Chicken Soup Chicken Soup (Nov 17, 18)—and Jump Start (Nov 23–25), which is devoted to works-in-progress.
