Knock Me a Kiss

The always compelling André De Shields heads the cast of Charles Smith's historical drama, inspired by the unsatisfactory 1928 marriage between Harlem Renaissance royalty Yolande Du Bois and the poet Countee Cullen. Chuck Smith—not to be confused with the playwright—directs the local premiere for New Federal Theatre.
