Kings of War

The extremely busy Ivo van Hove, who knocked out Broadway with revivals of A View from the Bridge and The Crucible last season, returns to BAM's Next Wave Festival with a work that updates three kings of Shakespearean history plays—Henry V, Henry VI and Richard III—to the modern age. Performed by Toneelgroep Amsterdam, this four-and-a-half-hour multimedia epic is presented in Dutch with English supertitles.
