Catrina McHugh's depiction of women behind bars (and their often painful histories) was devised with inmates at a prison in Northern England, and won the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award in 2015. Laura Lindow directs for Open Clasp, a company devoted to putting the stories of marginalized women center stage.
