I'm Almost There

Todd Almond is one of musical theater's most talented songwriters, as he proved in On the Levee and the underrated Iowa; he is also an excellent performer, as he demonstrated in Broadway's Girl from the North Country. In this song cycle, directed by the keen-minded David Cromer (Our Town), he sings of finding love in the face of seemingly ceaseless distractions, annoyances and obstacles. The piece will be recorded and released in the future by Audible Theatre, which commisioned it.
