Hot Lunch Apostles

The Talking Band brings Sidney Goldfarb's dystopian carnival—in which strippers are reduced to performing Bible stories to survive—back to La MaMa, where the troupe premiered it in 1983. Paul Zimet directs a cast that now includes Jack Wetherall, Will Badgett, Ellen Maddow, Tina Shepard and singer Loudon Wainwright III.
