Stairwell Theater presents Shakespeare's Henry VI trilogy's rarely staged second section—which depicts squabbling among various factions of ignoble nobles, as well as a would-be popular rebellion—as part of its multiyear, play-by-play tour through the Bard's War of the Roses tetralogy. Director Sam Gibbs aims to emphasize parallels between the tensions of 15th-century England and those dividing the United States today.
