Hello Again

Michael John LaChiusa’s high-concept 1993 musical, inspired by Schnitzler's La Ronde, has sex on the brain. Woven together with complex motifs, the show offers a grim survey of twisted trysts in the 20th century. Jack Cummings III’s intensely immersive revival brings this heady show back to the flesh (and lots of it); there is thought and talent everywhere and plenty of bang for your buck.—Adam Feldman
