Sholem Asch's controversial drama, which got its Broadway cast arrested for obscenity in 1923, is the subject of Paula Vogel's Indecent, which moves to Broadway in April. Meanwhile, Eleanor Reissa directs a rare revival of the play itself—which includes a lesbian kiss and a Jewish brothel keeper—for New Yiddish Rep.
