French playwright Frédéric Sonntag explores the interweaving of fact and fiction in his 2011 comedic thriller, in which a radical activist group, a team of TV screenwriters and shadowy government operatives take different approaches to a potential danger to national security. (The title references the name of the supposed spy in Hitchcock's North by Northwest.) The translation is by Samuel Buggeln; Max Hunter directs the NYC premiere for his Bridge Production Group.
